Welcome to Year 4!
We have had a great start back to school and all the children are working extremely hard in all areas of the curriculum. In English, we have been reading The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe and we have created some fantastic writing in English.
Children in science have enjoyed investigating the human digestive system by making their own poo! We have also explored this term our local area and why it is great to be a part of a fantastic community.

Year 4 have been working so hard this half term; they have adapted very well to their online learning and they have made great progress. This half term we have focused on division and fractions in maths, the children have shown great resilience. We have created some fantastic non-chronological reports on animals in English; this has also linked in to our science topic looking at habitats. Year 4 has created some fantastic work in topic learning all about Ancient Greece. We were very impressed at creating their own Greek vases. Year 4 have enjoyed their singing in music this half term, we have enjoyed changing our tone and volume. In RE we have been learning about the importance of community and the role the church plays in our community.
Well done Year 4, we are very proud of you all.
